Intro Week 1
Hi, I'm Anthony (Tony). I currently teach elementary PE. I became a teacher because I've always enjoyed working with kids. This is my first time teaching Gen Ed elementary PE. Before I taught PE in a Special Ed school K-12 and then drifted over to Adapted PE and now I am in Gen Ed PE. How did your personality affect your choice of content area. I was right down the middle between ESTJ and INFP. I don't think my personality had anything to do with wanting to teach PE specifically. I think personality wise I was a good match for teaching in general. I just happened to be an athlete in HS and college so my interest was in PE. I leaned to the "F" in the INFP side which is about valuing and appreciating. Those are things I feel a lot with the students I work with.
